Milán fell in love almost instantly and, from that moment on, rarely left Dóra’s side (developing what friends might call a cute case of separation anxiety). When Dóra later moved to Amsterdam, he visited her often - until COVID struck. As lockdowns began, Dóra returned home to Csömör and Milán (kind of) moved in with the Pathó family.
Weeks turned into months, and while the pandemic slowly faded, their love never did. Through every challenge - a global lockdown, moving apartments, mental health challenges, career struggles - one thing always stayed constant: they were there for each other.
After years of growing together (and maybe taking a hint from Beyoncé’s “If you like it, then you shoulda put a ring on it”), Milán decided it was time to make it official. After asking Bea and Zoltán for their blessing, he gathered his courage and proposed on November 23, 2024 - just a few meters from where they first met.
After a few (slightly long) seconds of silence and surprise, Dóra finally said, “Yes! Obviously!”
And the rest is history... Remaining to be written, together.
Milán and Dóra met just before the hectic years of COVID. One evening, Milán was swiping on Tinder when he came across a girl named Dóra - and immediately hit “super like.” They met just before Christmas at the Vörösmarty tér Christmas Market, right in front of Gerbeaud. What was meant to be a short meeting turned into hours of walking and talking - about Máté Péter’s songs, life abroad as Hungarians, and their shared love of túrógombóc.
